🔹 Mr. Moeketsi Phasumane
A BCom Accounting graduate from the National University of Lesotho, Mr. Phasumane currently serves in the Insurance Licensing Department at the Central Bank of Lesotho. His financial acumen and regulatory insight are vital assets to the board.
🔹 Mr. Tankiso Phapano
As the Principal Secretary in the Ministry of Energy, Mr. Phapano plays a key role in shaping national energy policy. His dedication to advancing Lesotho’s energy sector ensures strong alignment between public strategy and LEGCO’s mission.

Holding a BSc in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Cape Town, Mr. Samosamo is the Director of Mothapo Consulting PTY LTD. His technical background and entrepreneurial experience bring innovation and engineering excellence to the team.
🔹 Prof. Molibeli Taele – Chairperson of the Board
With a PhD in Applied Physics from the University of Lancaster, UK, Prof. Taele is a leading academic and solar energy expert. A Senior Lecturer at the National University of Lesotho, he brings a research-driven, future-focused perspective to board leadership.
🔹 Advocate Kautu Moeletsi
An accomplished legal professional with an LLB from the National University of Lesotho, Advocate Moeletsi is the owner of K Moeletsi Chambers and a former Lesotho diplomat to the United Nations. His legal expertise and international experience enrich the board’s strategic oversight.
